Heffley Creek is a neighbourhood 20 minutes north of Kamloops along the Yellowhead Highway. It is bordered by the Thompson River to the west, Sun Peaks to the east, Rayleigh to the south, and Vinsulla to the north. Heffley Creek is comprised of many communities including Heffley Lake, Knouff Lake and Whitecroft(just before Sun Peaks). The Heffley Creek valley has some spectacular small acreage properties for those looking to be just outside of Kamloops but close enough to commute to both Kamloops and Sun Peaks Resort.

The Heffley Creek area and surrounding communities consist mainly of of acreages and farms. There are many beautiful waterfront properties located on Heffley Lake. Whitecroft is a popular neighbourhood located just 10 minutes from Sun Peaks for those who prefer to live outside of the ski resort and enjoy more affordable property options. There are also acreages up to 500acres in size for those wanting the farm or ranch lifestyle.

There is a small convenience store that also sells alcohol and grocery store basics in Heffley Creek but residents will have to do their major shopping in Kamloops.
