Barnhartvale Road is the main feeder road for most of Barnhartvale’s acreages, farms and riding stables. The terrain can vary a lot in this region because some areas sit on flat valleys with open fields while others are up high on steep hills or cliffs. Homeowners often remark how amazing the views from their property are when they see them first-hand; many think that it would be hard to find better scenery anywhere else!

The furthest West area of Barnhartvale on Uplands Court, Uplands Drive and Woodland Court are home to the majority of executive homes in this neighbourhood. This is not surprising as this region has seen some new houses being completed in 2015.
Klahanie Drive, Freda Avenue and Shelly Drive are three streets in Barnhartvale that have a number of modular homes. These single-level dwellings sit on lots smaller than quarter acres with beautiful views and nice yards. However, because they’re located so close to the city limits Kamloops won’t allow excavation for foundations due to ground instability which is why these houses predominantly come as modules before being assembled here.
The properties along Todd Road are a wonderful place to live with ample opportunities for the outdoorsy person. The acres of land is filled with horses, animals and plenty of space to explore. It’s also surrounded by rural living quarters that all have their own city services available. That means you get water, sewer and garbage collection as well.
The best streets to look for a hobby farm with plenty of room and space are Pratt Road, Blundell Place and Erin Valley Crescent which intersect with Todd Road. These small acreages range in size but are often under 10 acres so there’s something perfect waiting just around the corner. There are also many large workshops as these properties have been used by people who love tinkering or hobbies that require lots of storage like watercraft or cars on this great route through the neighbourhood which benefits from some city services depending on where they’re located along its path.
The homes found along Meadowland Crescent North and South are not just larger residential parcels or small acreages. The school is within a couple of minutes walk for those who prefer to live near it. Public transportation can be reached in the same amount of time through walking which many people find appealing because it allows them easy access without having to rely on cars.
